Nurse Education Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Education Coordinator to join our team at Liberty Health and Rehabilitation Services.
Compensation: $10,000 SIGN ON BONUS + estimated salary range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year.
About the Role:
The Nurse Education Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the staff development program, acting as personnel health nurse, and providing orientation for all employees. They will also conduct blood-borne pathogens training, hazard communication standards training, and serve as primary instructor for the Nurse Aide Training Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective staff development programs to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
- Conduct regular training sessions on various topics, including blood-borne pathogens and hazard communication standards.
- Serve as primary instructor for the Nurse Aide Training Program, ensuring compliance with DFS requirements.
- Collaborate with the Nursing Management Team to review incident reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of education initiatives.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Five years of experience in long-term care nursing or nursing education.
- CPR certification and ability to work independently.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to supervise nursing staff.
