We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at The Westin Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. As a Housekeeper, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, providing an exceptional experience for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize public areas, rooms, and restrooms, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail.
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Replenish supplies and maintain a well-stocked linen room and work area.
  • Interact with guests on occasion, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Report maintenance repair problems to supervisor, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing downtime.
  • Ensure all lost and found items are turned in and logged daily, maintaining a secure and organized environment.
Requirements
  • Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel setting is highly preferred.
  • Previous commercial cleaning or guest service experience is also preferred.
  • Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures is essential.
  • Ability to work quickly under pressure and follow instructions is critical.
  • Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations is required.
