Position Summary:
We are seeking a Principal Product Engineer specializing in Server Clusters. This role involves designing cluster-level hardware solutions utilizing existing server models while also planning innovative hardware solutions for upcoming server models under development.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Principal Product Engineer, your primary duties will include:
- Configuring clusters for new server models to facilitate early customer engagement.
- Providing comprehensive solutions and Bill of Materials (BOM) for customer requests related to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
- Predicting cluster performance metrics.
- Defining cluster workloads, benchmarks, and testing protocols.
- Preparing detailed documentation for cluster configurations.
- Conducting training sessions and promotional activities for Cluster products.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or 17 years of relevant industry experience.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience with Intel/AMD/Nvidia CPU/GPU/DPU server platforms, focusing on performance optimization design and calculations.
- Familiarity with Intel/AMD/Nvidia technical support services.
- Knowledge of memory, storage devices, file systems, and Ethernet applications, including performance prediction and calculations for scaling.
- Experience with HPC, cluster, and server workloads, including benchmarks for various applications such as AI, finance, and government sectors.
- Proficiency in providing solutions for customer RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
- Strong ability to work independently with customers while excelling in teamwork with colleagues.
- Capability to engage with customers at various levels, particularly in early product engagement scenarios.
- Experience with large cluster hardware configurations and deployments is a plus.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $220,000, contingent upon various factors including location, experience, and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package and potential participation in bonus and equity award programs.
