Job Summary

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Supermicro, you will play a critical role in leading the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, ensuring the successful integration and production readiness of server products. Your expertise in validation, system testing, and debugging will be essential in resolving complex production issues and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire NPI process for server products, ensuring compliance with quality and production standards.
  • Lead the validation process for new server products, coordinating tests and ensuring functionality and performance meet specifications.
  • Conduct comprehensive system testing and debugging for server hardware and software to ensure functionality and performance meet specifications.
  • Identify and resolve complex production issues related to server hardware and software, implementing effective solutions.
  • Act as the primary liaison between production, R&D, Project/Product Management (PM), and Lab teams, ensuring clear communication and coordination throughout the NPI and validation phases.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering (preferred), or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in production engineering, with a strong focus on server hardware and software products.
  • Proven experience in managing NPI projects, leading product validation processes, and conducting system testing and debugging.
  • Strong expertise in identifying and solving issues related to server hardware and software.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering and production software.
What We Offer

Supermicro offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive salary range of $126,000 - $151,000, depending on location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for bonus and equity award programs.
