Key Responsibilities- Lead Zuora Billing projects for clients, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that leverage the Salesforce Billing platform.
- Provide detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions, articulating benefits and risks.
- Offer hands-on technical assistance to developers and provide expertise during sales efforts.
- Stay up-to-date with new Zuora product and technical capabilities, applying this knowledge to drive business growth.
- Present to potential clients during sales efforts, creating quick proof of concepts as needed.
- Demonstrate thought leadership through publishing, public speaking, and client presentations.
- Coach and mentor junior technical and functional team members.
- Lead or participate in technical integration discussions and design workshops.
- Create high-level architecture diagrams that cater to both technical and business-minded individuals.
- Optimize product configurations to match clients' billing requirements.
- Provide guidance on best-in-class billing strategies to clients.
- Act as the solution owner during projects, ensuring scope and outcomes are on track.
- Interview candidates and travel up to 50% of the time.
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in digital transformation, strategic leadership, technology implementation, and value realization within SaaS & AI applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive organizational change in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to think strategically, align digital initiatives with business goals, and drive positive outcomes.
- 5+ end-to-end Zuora Billing implementations.
- Minimum 5 years of Zuora platform experience.
- Complete understanding of data models and product/pricing master data management.
- Knowledge of the full billing cycle, including invoicing, payment, and financial reporting.
- Experience in B2B or B2C E-Commerce is highly desired.
- Excellent client-facing written and oral communications skills.
- Prior experience as a Solution Architect or similar role on 3+ projects that were at least 6 months in duration.
- Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire.

We also offer yearly $350 reimbursement accounts for well-being-related expenses and discounted home, auto, and pet insurance.
Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range for the Principal Architect role is $122,000- $225,000. For the Senior Delivery Principal Architect role, the base salary pay range is $140,000- $258,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
