Production Supervisor Job Description

At Pladis Global, we're on a mission to bring happiness to the world through our iconic global brands. As a Production Supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, ensuring the highest quality products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote a positive team environment and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to establishing process improvements and ensure effective communication with production teams.
  • Conduct shift meetings, share daily production schedules, and ensure proper staffing.
  • Deliver effective training and performance management of production workforce, ensuring employees are trained in all processes and follow proper protocols.
  • Record shift production and provide updates to incoming shift supervisors.
  • Direct the flow of materials to assigned areas to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Manage team time off requests and ensure all employee issues and concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Regularly walk the production floor to ensure safety requirements are met and attended to.
  • Promote safety throughout the assigned area and follow all plant safety and GMP rules and regulations.
  • Assist in food safety and quality issues or programs and ensure all quantitative and qualitative measures in the operating plan are met.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with food manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to learn all production lines and adapt to changing processes.
Personal Attributes:
  • High energy level with good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and good manufacturing practices.
  • Self-starter with a collaborative and supportive attitude.
  • Strong communicator and coordinator with efficient and organized skills.
