We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Therapist to join our team at Promises Behavioral Health, LLC.
Job SummaryThe Primary Therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapy, crisis intervention services, psychoeducation presentations, and experiential learning groups for clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical services, including individual, group, and family therapy, crisis intervention services, primary process groups, psychoeducation presentations, and experiential learning groups for clients and families.
- Provide oversight of residential facilities.
- Provide clinical consultation for clients and their families, and referents upon request.
- Develop and implement psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and clinical discharge summaries.
- Collaborate with clinical case managers and family therapists to provide comprehensive client care.
- Master's or Ph.D. in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
- LPC, LCSW, or LMFT licensure and clinical qualifications or intern status licensure.
- Three years' experience in social work or a related field.
- Experience working with addictions and/or mental health.
- Knowledge of various interventions, including DBT, CBT, Family Systems, and other evidence-based practices.
- Ability to demonstrate understanding of diverse cultures and gender-specific issues and incorporate needs of gender and culturally diverse groups into practice settings.
- Excellent organizational skills, including prioritizing workload and working independently.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
