Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist II to join our team at BAE Systems USA. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for performing in-process and final inspection operations on microelectronics assemblies utilizing a microscope.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform visual inspections of microelectronics assemblies and subassemblies in a clean room environment
  • Utilize controlled documents, including assembly drawings, process work instructions, specifications, and inspection checklists, to ensure compliance with quality specifications and standards
  • Document nonconformances and completions within a Manufacturing Execution System
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues
Requirements
  • High School Degree or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work under general supervision
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • English literacy required
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Capable of utilizing a microscope for the majority of the working shift
  • Computer literate and able to navigate with Microsoft Office and production-related software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience inspecting microelectronics devices in a production environment
  • Experience with reading, understanding, and following process instructions and customer drawings
  • Experience using Manufacturing Execution Systems like SAP or Solumina
  • Knowledge of military and workmanship standards, including MIL-STD-883, MIL-PRF-38534, and IPC-A-610
