Job Summary:

The Dual Assistant General Manager is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and the efficient operation of two hotels by supervising operating departments in the absence of the General Manager and/or the Manager on Duty. This role assists the General Manager in achieving hotel profitability through revenue generation, cost control, guest satisfaction, and associate development. Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as necessary to complete their job responsibilities; for OEM associates, overtime applies and is calculated accordingly.

Responsibilities:
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in a Rooms or F&B department hotel, or a 4-year college degree and at least 2-3 years of experience in a Rooms or F&B department at a hotel, or a 2-year college degree and at least 3-4 years of experience in a Rooms or F&B department at a hotel.
  • Previous supervisory experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems is a must.
  • The ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately is essential.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills are necessary.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • The ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations is crucial.
  • Maintaining composure and objectivity under pressure is essential.
  • Effective handling of problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary, is required.
  • The ability to assimilate complex information, data, etc. from disparate sources and consider, adjust, or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need is necessary.
  • Effective communication and conflict resolution skills are required.
  • The ability to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions, is a must.
