As a key member of VPNE's expanding transportation division, the role of the Shuttle Transportation Specialist involves safely transporting employees and clients from parking facilities to their designated locations.

The Shuttle Transportation Specialist will consistently deliver outstanding service and prioritize safety, ensuring that the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and reflects company standards.


Responsibilities:
Maintain safety protocols at all times while transporting employees to their designated locations.

Ensure that the vehicle complies with all safety regulations and adheres to the maintenance schedule.

Observe all traffic laws and maintain appropriate speed limits.

Verify that all passengers are authorized to board the shuttle.

Adhere to a set schedule to minimize delays.

Ensure each passenger enjoys a positive experience and address any issues promptly.

Exhibit the Exceptional Care philosophy consistently.


Communicate all necessary information clearly and professionally to managers and passengers, whether in person or via shuttle radio.


Qualifications:
Years of Experience: 6 Months Professional Driving

Language Skills:
Proficient in English, both verbal and written

Education

Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED

Licenses required:
Driver's License

Certificates required:
Updated DOT Medical Clearance Card; DPU Certification

Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods

Ability to walk short distances

Manual dexterity to operate a shuttle bus safely

Strong customer service orientation

Capability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Must be at least 18 years of age

Willingness to maintain a positive demeanor during all customer interactions

Adherence to uniform standards while on duty

Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening

Driving record must meet company standards

Capability to successfully complete the company-issued driving test

Ability to foster relationships with customers.
