At Tri State General Contractors, we are seeking an experienced and ambitious Senior Construction Project Coordinator to join our team as a Traveling Superintendent. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on commercial retail projects in Amarillo and West Texas, managing day-to-day operations, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring project compliance.

Compensation:

">

The estimated salary for this position is $95,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on experience and location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Manage and supervise the work of subcontractors on the project.">
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the construction site.">
  • Review and understand plans, specifications, and schedules.">
  • Schedule and direct subcontractor activities at specific sites to ensure a productive and safe workplace.">
  • Inspect and manage materials and tradesmen to ensure project compliance.">
  • Coordinate with local building officials, health department, fire department, special inspections, public works, and owner walks.">
  • Maintain project schedules and direct subcontractors accordingly.">
  • Obtain final project inspections and certifications of occupancies and compliance.">
  • Assist the Project Manager with project financials, track and manage GC costs, and manage owner and subcontractor requests for extra work.">
  • Compile close-out documents, including as-builts, warranty documentation, and OEM manuals.">
  • Conduct weekly on-site safety meetings and ensure subcontractors adhere to onsite safety policies and procedures.">
  • Complete daily logs and coordinate owner vendors and equipment.">
  • Review all submittals and take leadership for punch list issuance and completion.">
  • Travel to various job sites throughout New Mexico and West Texas.">
  • Ability to walk through the construction site during the construction phase and review subcontractor work in varying weather conditions.">
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and/or scaffolding to verify and direct means and methods.">
  • Ability to operate a forklift and scissor lift.">
  • Excellent computer skills and detailed paperwork required.">
  • Ability to read and thoroughly understand plans and submittals.">
  • Wood framing retail experience a plus.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
  • Problem-solving abilities.">
  • Demonstrated knowledge of building systems.">
  • Highly motivated with great organizational, team, and customer service skills.">
