Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Counselor to join our team in Washington State. As a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, you will provide personalized assistance to injured workers, assessing their needs and developing strategies for recovery and return to work. Your primary duties will include:
  • Meeting with injured workers to establish short-term and long-term goals for recovery and return to work.
  • Providing guidance on the claim process and answering questions related to worker's compensation.
  • Assisting injured workers in creating and developing a resume based on job goals.
  • Collaborating with employers to facilitate a smooth return to work and providing information on stay-at-work and return-to-work incentives.

Required Skills and QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you must possess:
  • A bachelor's degree in medical or social sciences (or master's degree in rehabilitation counseling).
  • Credentialed Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS) AND/OR Credentialed Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) certification.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Residency in or willingness to relocate to Washington State.

Estimated SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this position is around $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
