We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor to join our team at Vocational Vistas Incorporated.
About the Role:This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to work with injured workers, employers, and healthcare providers to facilitate recovery and return to work.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide personalized support and guidance to injured workers in achieving their short-term and long-term goals.
- Collaborate with employers to develop strategies for successful return to work and job modification or accommodation.
- Communicate effectively with care providers to determine plans of care and assess functional capacities.
- Assess skills and qualifications of clients to identify training needs and develop retraining programs as required.
- Maintain accurate records of communication and progress with all stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree (medical or social sciences preferred) or Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling.
- Credentialed Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS) AND/OR Credentialed Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- A valid driver's license and insurance, with a willingness to relocate to Washington State.
