Key Responsibilities- Lead the planning, analysis, and execution of systems engineering activities, including requirements engineering, solutions engineering, and system integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement system architectures, designs, and solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior engineers and ensure that all engineering activities are conducted in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design documents, technical specifications, and test plans.
- Participate in the development and implementation of system testing and validation plans, including test case development and execution.
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve system design and implementation.
- Master's degree in Systems Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 18 years of experience in systems engineering, with a strong background in requirements engineering, solutions engineering, and system integration.
- Experience working in a government or industry setting, with a strong understanding of the DoD/IC Acquisition Process and PPBES Process.
- Strong technical skills, including experience with system design, development, and testing.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- TS/SCI clearance, or ability to obtain.
- Doctorate in Systems Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages.
- Software Development Framework certification.
- Licensure as a professional engineer.
- Membership or leadership participation in professional organizations, such as ACSM, ASCE, ASPRS, OGC, SAREM, or USGIF.
- Extensive work experience in the field of geospatial intelligence.
- Experience engineering solutions using Cloud-based technologies, Big Data, Automation, Augmentation, and Artificial Intelligence technologies.
- Demonstrated expertise in photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic information systems, geomatics, or related fields.
