About the Role

RTX is seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Systems Integration and Test Engineer to join our team in Springfield, Virginia. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the integration and testing of complex systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the integration and testing of complex systems, including satellite ground systems and terrestrial data networking.
  • Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and environments to ensure system functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, program management, and customer representatives, to ensure successful system delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve system design, development, and testing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in systems integration and test, with a strong background in satellite ground systems and terrestrial data networking.
  • Proven track record of leading complex system integration and testing projects, with a focus on quality, performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance.
