Job Summary

We're seeking a Front Desk Associate to join our team at Planet Fitness. As a Front Desk Associate, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members, prospective members, and guests. You'll be the face of our club, ensuring that every interaction is positive and memorable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet members and guests, answering any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Help promote our Judgement Free Zone by connecting with members on the club floor, offering assistance and support in their fitness journeys.
  • Resolve member concerns and escalate to a manager as needed.
  • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with their inquiries.
  • Perform membership-related functions, such as sign-ups, contact updates, cancellations, and collecting unpaid balances.
  • Perform prospective member calls and tours, assessing their membership needs.
  • Execute retail transactions with accuracy and drive sales goals.
  • Regularly clean and sanitize exercise equipment and Black Card spa amenities.
  • Ensure restrooms are clean and sanitized, stocked, and clutter-free.
Requirements
  • 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Willingness to become CPR/AED certified (training provided by Planet Fitness).
  • Basic computer proficiency.
