Patient Care Specialist

Job Summary
The Patient Care Specialist is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse. This role functions under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse, with the primary responsibility of ensuring patient safety and providing basic patient cares such as nutrition, feeding, and hydration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient safety and support by staying with the patient at all times unless relieved by another care team member
- Effectively communicate with all team members to ensure seamless care delivery
- Perform basic patient cares as delegated by the Registered Nurse, including nutrition, feeding, and hydration
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
