Job Title: Nurse Specialist - Mother and Infant Care

The Nurse Specialist - Mother and Infant Care is a critical role in providing high-quality patient care to mothers and infants. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care, promoting patient safety, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to mothers and infants, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition, and take appropriate action to ensure patient safety.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio.
  • 1 year of experience in maternal and neonatal care.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
