ONEPOWER Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical application support in the project development stage and overseeing project installation at the end-user facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess customer needs and provide feedback to management to determine the capability of the company to provide effective products, equipment, services, training, and aftercare to the customer.
  • Support customer needs and calculate costs to provide project development through cost, time, and manpower needs.
  • Assist with manufacturers' training for customers on technical data and operating procedures.
  • Follow up with customers to assure equipment, products, and/or services are effectively meeting the customers' needs.

Install end products for the customer, supervise contractors or contract laborers as required to create an operating system. Be able to read layout and equipment drawings.

Requirements:
  • College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of the equipment, installation, use, service, and training required to provide customers with quality end products.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and oversee multiple projects/operations.
  • Knowledge in the production and installation of robotic, conveyance, and manual welding equipment, machining, and assembly equipment, press, and test bench products.
  • Japanese language ability.
