Job Title:
Mechanical Design Engineer

Actalent is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Tinker AFB. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will perform mechanical engineering design tasks such as code research, mechanical design/load calculations, and drafting in CAD.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of construction documents under the licensed Project Engineer's supervision
  • Field work, inspections, and other duties as assigned
  • Evaluate projects to determine the most appropriate and economical systems to serve a facility
  • Prepare original design and preliminary and final design of mechanical projects, including size, capacity, and economy
  • Perform HVAC designs for various projects
  • Participate in on-site inspections
  • Produce plans, diagrams, reports, and assist with specifications
  • Assist in preparation of cost estimates and inspection reports
  • Prepare required documentation to ensure project designs are suitable for solicitation through the base contracting office

Requirements:

  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Mechanical Design
  • Construction (Federal or Commercial or Industrial)
  • AutoCAD

Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. You will be working as a part of the CSAG team in Building 3001.
