Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medication Technician to join our team at Lutheran Homes of South Carolina. As a Medication Technician, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our residents by administering medications, monitoring their health, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures
  • Monitor residents' health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
  • Maintain a clean and organized medication room and storage areas
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of Trinity's Medication Administration class and test
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Good physical and emotional health
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
