Job Title: Phlebotomy Technician

Aiken Regional Medical Centers is seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Technician to join our team. As a Phlebotomy Technician, you will be responsible for performing blood draws and other laboratory tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood samples from patients for laboratory testing
  • Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture procedures
  • Label and process blood samples for testing
  • Maintain accurate records of patient samples and test results
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to ensure patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a phlebotomy training program or equivalent experience
  • Current certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
