Job Title: Physical Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health in Golf, Illinois. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries or illnesses and achieve optimal physical function.

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing education and support to patients and their families. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients to determine the extent of their physical abilities and limitations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote optimal physical function and health
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Physical Therapist license issued by the state of Wisconsin
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:

The Physical Therapist will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull with 30 pounds of force, and perform repetitive use of hands.
