We are seeking a dedicated Invasive Cardiac Technology Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role primarily involves working in the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Lab, where you will play a crucial part in assisting with cardiac surgical procedures.
Work Schedule:
This position primarily operates during the day shift, with occasional late-night shifts and on-call responsibilities as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the surgical environment and maintain a sterile field for various cardiac procedures.
- Set up necessary sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment for operations.
- Anticipate and manage equipment needs during procedures, ensuring all instruments are sterile and ready for use.
- Function effectively in multiple roles within the surgical team, including scrub, circulator, and documentation.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills to support the surgical team and enhance patient care.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess certification as a Surgical Technician or meet the necessary state requirements to be considered under Public Health law 2824. Additionally, a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification through CCI or ARRT is preferred.
