Job Title: Cardiac Invasive Lab Tech

Core Staffing Service is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Invasive Lab Tech to join our team for a travel assignment in Rochester, Minnesota.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified Cardiac Invasive Lab Tech to perform various cardiac tests and procedures, including assisting physicians with invasive cardiac laboratory procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular technology and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians with invasive cardiac laboratory procedures
  • Conduct various cardiac tests to monitor patients' heart and blood vessel conditions
  • Prepare procedure rooms and prepping patients for procedures
  • Obtain and record patient information
  • Assist physicians in procedure by circulating and scrubbing procedures
  • X-ray fluoroscopy proficiency
  • Acquire/measure/calculate hemodynamic data
  • Perform blood work analysis
  • Operate intracardiac ultrasound
  • Clean procedure rooms and prepare instruments for resterilization
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology
  • OR graduate of a radiography program
  • OR candidate must be transitioning from a Cardiovascular Tech (CVT) role and have successfully passed the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) exam to become a certified Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
  • At least one (1) year vascular or cardiovascular lab experience preferred
  • RCIS Certified or ARRT Certified
  • BLS required
