As a Cardiac Invasive Lab Tech, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians with invasive cardiac laboratory procedures and conducting various cardiac tests to monitor patients' heart and blood vessel conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians with invasive cardiac laboratory procedures
  • Conduct various cardiac tests to monitor patients' heart and blood vessel conditions
  • Prepare procedure rooms and prepping patients for procedures
  • Obtain and record patient information
  • Assist physicians in procedure by circulating and scrubbing procedures
  • Perform blood work analysis and operate intracardiac ultrasound
  • Directs and practices safety guidelines for themselves, staff and patients

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology or radiography
  • RCIS or RCES certification required through CCI within 18 months of hire
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
