Seasonal Medical Surgical Renal Nurse Position

As a Seasonal Medical Surgical Renal Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in patients' medical records
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to medication
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
- Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Texas

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
