Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Mathematics Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and experience teaching a math curriculum. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Presenting lessons in a comprehensive manner and using visual/audio means to facilitate learning
  • Providing individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
  • Creating and distributing educational content (notes, summaries, assignments, etc.)
  • Assessing and recording student progress and providing grades and feedback
  • Collaborating with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders in regular meetings
  • Planning and executing educational in-class and outdoor activities and events
  • Observing and understanding student behavior and psyche and reporting suspicions of neglect or abuse
  • Developing and enriching professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences, etc.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience teaching a math curriculum
  • Experience in a school setting
  • Up-to-date clearances and insurance
  • Pennsylvania Teacher Certification
