Store Manager

The Store Manager at PacSun is a key leadership position responsible for driving sales, improving customer experience, and maintaining store operations. This role requires a strong passion for product, brands, fashion, and trends, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and delegate tasks to meet selling, visual, and operational needs
- Build product confidence through education and accountability
- Support and execute product, visual, and marketing directives
- Maintain a clean, organized, and replenished store environment
- Anticipate and meet customer needs to ensure satisfaction
- Foster a positive and engaging selling experience
- Accountable for achieving sales, metric, and operational goals
- Understand and communicate key business reports and payroll tools
- Create shortage action plans to minimize loss
- Drive digital sales strategies, including ship from store and BOPIS
- Communicate store and customer feedback to District or Market Manager
- Coach and develop Management and Associate teams
- Accountable for performance management of underperforming team members
Requirements:
- Passion for product, brands, fashion, and trends
- Four-year college degree or equivalent preferred
- Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to drive sales results in a high-volume environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to interpret policies and procedures
- Willingness to travel for meetings and workshops
- Proficient in math and computer skills
- Minimum five years retail experience, with two years of management experience
Leadership Qualities:
- Operate with high conduct, integrity, and confidentiality
- Develop and nurture cross-functional partnerships
- Serve as a PacSun advocate in the industry and marketplace
- Recruit, identify, develop, and retain talent
- Lead company culture, norms, and conduct
- Balance management presence with approachability
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, occasionally up to 35 pounds
- Frequently sit/stand for long periods, climb ladders as needed
- Regularly required to talk or hear, frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach, twist, or squat
- Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stockroom, and office areas
- Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting
- Hotel, airplane, and car travel may be required
