Optometrist Assistant

Job Summary

As an Optometrist Assistant - Army, you will be responsible for ensuring all patients receive the highest quality Optometric care. This includes delivering the store's key performance indicators by integrating the Brand Story and ensuring flawless execution of the patient experience/behaviors and seamlessly linking the doctor and retail functions together.

Responsibilities

- Promptly answers the telephone in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Identifies special needs, consulting with Optician, Managing Doctor or Retail Management when necessary.
- Demonstrates knowledge of appointment book/scheduling procedures and computer operation/procedures.
- Places contact lens orders, processes shipments and properly submits invoices for payment.

Requirements

- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
- Knowledge of office and store merchandise.
