Job Summary:

The Respiratory Technician II will have successfully completed the first two semesters of an accredited respiratory therapy program and will have obtained a student license from the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform direct patient care for therapies and patient care activities within the scope of student licensure per the KBRC.
  • Assist with EKGs in the ED or support equipment needs for the respiratory services department.
  • Support equipment cleaning and reprocessing, as well as cylinder storage rounds as needed during a shift.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge commensurate with a respiratory therapy student who has completed two semesters of an accredited program.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred Education/Experience
