We collaborate with leading retailers in the industry, including major names, and operate nearly 5,400 retail locations across the country. Our services encompass technology, logistics, and anaerobic digestion facilities, all designed to assist retailers in achieving their sustainability objectives. Annually, we process over 232,000 tons of food waste and have facilitated the donation of more than 10 million pounds of food to individuals in need through partnerships with prominent food retailers and local charities.

Key Responsibilities:

Culture & Safety:

  • Foster a positive work culture within the facility by implementing processes that encourage empowerment and structured independence.
  • Ensure a safe working environment through effective training and reinforcement of best practices.
  • Maintain consistent adherence to established operational disciplines.
  • Oversee and execute the technical training program for plant personnel, including:
    • Developing a comprehensive onboarding program for technicians that covers safety, effective CMMS usage, proactive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
    • Coaching and mentoring technicians to enhance their technical skills.

Maintenance & Reliability:

  • Formulate procedures and plans for significant maintenance tasks, such as equipment replacements and inspections.
  • Manage maintenance processes, including:
    • Overseeing the preventive maintenance program and spare parts inventory based on wear and reliability assessments.
  • Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Research suppliers for parts and services, evaluating lead times and costs to ensure appropriate spare parts availability.
  • Generate and distribute asset utilization reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Analyze collected data to drive meaningful improvements.
  • Facilitate daily maintenance planning, including work order generation and scheduling aligned with plant needs.
  • Utilize CMMS for tracking maintenance requirements.

Plant Process Management:

  • Collaborate with the Plant Manager to establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for daily operations.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for daily plant activities, including:
    • Management of documentation.
    • Processes for composting and rerouting.
    • Setting and enforcing operational standards for plant tasks and KPIs.

Contractor Management:

  • Oversee contractor activities for plant repairs and enhancements.
  • Manage purchase orders and ensure vendors meet established standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in mechanical, maintenance, or related industrial fields from an accredited institution.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in industrial or production maintenance, including leadership roles.
  • Proven experience in managing complex operational systems.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience with CMMS is required.
  • CMRP certification is preferred, along with familiarity with relevant practices.
  • Experience with high-pressure gas transmission and related equipment is advantageous.
