The Crisis Specialist QMHP - Office or Residential Based is responsible for ensuring the provision of recovery-focused, person-centered care with a trauma-informed perspective.
This position operates in a dynamic environment, and performs case management, assessment, and/or service coordination work based on the program's guidelines.
The QMHP's duties may include and are not limited to providing continuity of care services, linking consumers and families to needed resources, and coordinating, monitoring, and updating services and consumer goals.
Providing necessary skills training, assisting in crisis prevention, and/or providing community outreach are additional roles.
As a team member within the crisis services division, the QMHP works to address client's needs utilizing assessment, multidisciplinary coordination, and efficient clinically appropriate utilization of agency resources.
Duties include collaboration with consumers, first responders, and community stakeholders to address immediate mental health crisis and plan for future crisis relapse prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide recovery-focused, person-centered care with a trauma-informed perspective
- Perform case management, assessment, and/or service coordination work
- Coordinate, monitor, and update services and consumer goals
- Provide necessary skills training and assist in crisis prevention
- Collaborate with consumers, first responders, and community stakeholders
Requirements:
- Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field
- Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Crisis experience preferred
- Bilingual preferred
