Join our dedicated team at Palacios Marine and Industrial as an HR Onboarding Specialist. This role is pivotal in facilitating the seamless integration of new employees into our organization. You will collaborate closely with the Onboarding Coordinator to ensure that all new team members are processed with precision and care.
Key Responsibilities:
As an HR Onboarding Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming candidates and providing assistance with initial inquiries.
- Guiding candidates through the electronic onboarding process and supervising their computer-based training.
- Coordinating offsite drug testing and necessary training sessions.
- Establishing and maintaining digital employee records.
- Communicating effectively with Operations Managers regarding the status of candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Maintaining an organized requisition spreadsheet using Excel.
- Ensuring accurate setup of employees in the payroll system upon completion of onboarding.
- Bilingual proficiency is advantageous but not mandatory.
