POSITION SUMMARY

This role is essential in promoting and cross-selling banking products and services to both new and existing clientele. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service by effectively communicating and recommending various banking solutions tailored to meet the needs of customers while aligning with the bank's growth objectives. Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish, are highly encouraged to apply.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Promotes, advises, and cross-sells a variety of banking services to meet customer needs and support the bank's growth.
  2. Facilitates the application process and necessary documentation for new accounts.
  3. Ensures customer satisfaction by addressing account inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  4. Manages Safe Deposit Box operations and maintains accurate records.
  5. Opens new consumer and business accounts efficiently.
  6. Handles customer inquiries via phone or in-person, addressing questions and complaints while conducting account research.
  7. Markets, renews, and redeems certificates as required.
  8. Provides additional services such as IRA management, ordering ATM and Debit cards, maintaining records, and offering notary services.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF RELATIONSHIP BANKER 2:

  1. Promotes and sells various loan products by assessing customer needs through interviews.
  2. Collects overdue loans under assigned responsibility to minimize potential losses.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Preferred: College degree in a business-related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience required.
  • Experience in the financial sector is preferred.
  • For RB2, two (2) years of Relationship Banker experience is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Comprehensive service and sales skill set required.
  • Experience with Fiserv applications is preferred.
