High School Technology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced High School Computer Technician to join our team at Ector County ISD. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for all campus hardware, software, and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service and support to students, teachers, and staff.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with computer hardware, software, and networks.
- Install and configure computer systems, software, and peripherals.
- Manage and maintain inventory of campus technology.
- Collaborate with IT personnel and campus administration to ensure seamless technology integration.
- Support student one-to-one devices and testing environment.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on projectors and interactive whiteboards.
- Document and track work orders and inventory.
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- 2 years of experience in computer support or related field.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, software, and networks.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
This position requires frequent districtwide and statewide travel, as well as occasional prolonged or irregular hours.
