Position Overview:

The Mailroom Operations Specialist is responsible for efficiently managing all incoming and outgoing correspondence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organizes and distributes incoming mail to designated departments and employees to ensure prompt delivery.

• Handles interdepartmental communications including memos and notifications.

• Collects mail from various departments.

• Operates mail processing equipment such as postage meters, photocopiers, and mail folding machines.

• Prepares and weighs outgoing mail for dispatch.

• Maintains accurate records of mail receipts, dispatch dates, and other pertinent details.

• Replenishes postage supplies as necessary.

• Ensures mailroom supplies are adequately stocked.

• Performs additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Data Entry
  • Strong Typing Skills
  • Effective Professional Writing
  • Prior experience in mail handling is advantageous
  • Experience in production environments is a plus

Compensation: $20/hr
