We are seeking a skilled HVAC service technician with extensive experience in light commercial environments, dedicated to delivering top-notch HVAC maintenance services to our clientele.
Key Responsibilities:- Expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse array of light commercial HVAC systems, including centrifugal chillers and window air conditioning units.
- Perform routine tasks such as filter changes and preventative maintenance on both commercial and residential HVAC units.
- Engage directly with clients to ensure their technical requirements are fully addressed.
- Accurately complete service and inspection reports, timesheets, and other necessary documentation in a professional and timely manner, adhering to established protocols.
- 8-10+ years of experience in managing commercial facilities.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and eligibility to operate a company vehicle.
- Willingness to work evenings or weekends as needed, with minimal overtime.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check necessary for working in educational settings with children.
- Universal CFC Certification and HVAC Degree or Certification are mandatory; experience with Chillers and BAS Control is advantageous.
- Friendly demeanor with a strong focus on customer service.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and proficient in utilizing smartphone technologies.
- Basic computer skills for research, communication, and recordkeeping.
- Job entails approximately 50% outdoor and 50% indoor work, often requiring prolonged periods of standing.
- Capability to work on lifts, scaffolding, tall ladders, and in confined spaces.
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
Full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend emergency duties.
