Job Overview

Aya Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and support to students with exceptional needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of students with exceptionalities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms and small group settings.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a collaborative approach to student support.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience working with students with exceptional needs, preferably in a special education setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, with a focus on student-centered education.
