Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Inpatient Psychiatric Therapist to join our team at West Pines Behavioral Hospital. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic services to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions to treat emotional and mental disorders.
  • Lead and coordinate activities of clinical and direct patient care personnel.
  • Conduct individual, group, or family therapy sessions as needed.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy services provided.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with staff to facilitate services.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience as a therapist, with 6 years of experience working with the specific population of the facility.
  • State license required (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LAC).
  • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
