Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop initial discharge plans
  • Provide individual, group, or family sessions as appropriate for the treatment plan
  • Collaborate with other staff to facilitate services for patients
  • Document therapy services provided to each patient, according to facility and professional standards
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to patient care
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or other therapeutic field
  • Four or more years' experience as a therapist, with two or more years' experience with the specific population of the facility
  • State License (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LAC)
  • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification
