Job Title: Crisis Clinician

At Riveon Mental Health and Recovery Careers, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Crisis Clinician to join our team. As a Crisis Clinician, you will play a critical role in providing crisis intervention services to individuals in need.

Job Summary

The Crisis Clinician will be responsible for assessing and intervening in crisis situations, providing mental health assessments, and developing treatment plans to ensure the safety and well-being of clients. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to crisis calls and provide immediate support to individuals in crisis
  • Conduct mental health assessments and develop treatment plans to address client needs
  • Provide crisis intervention services, including face-to-face counseling and telephone support
  • Collaborate with community agencies and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, counseling, psychology)
  • Ohio licensure as an LSW or LPC
  • 2+ years of experience in mental health or crisis intervention
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a variety of settings, including community outreach, emergency rooms, and residential facilities. The Crisis Clinician must be able to navigate changing surface conditions and interact with clients and others in emergency situations.
