Position Summary
The Senior Consultant will be instrumental in guiding clients through initiatives that involve Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and change management strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of the implications of change on business operations and the ability to craft comprehensive transformation plans that align with client objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough BPR evaluations, including interviews and focus group sessions.
- Oversee project timelines and develop client deliverables.
- Support project tasks from inception to completion, ensuring effective tracking and reporting.
- Gather and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data through various research methods.
- Create standard operating procedures and workflows that reflect current practices while recommending future improvements.
- Document insights from client interactions to suggest enhancements for organizational performance.
- Facilitate discussions with clients and stakeholders, preparing necessary documentation.
- Contribute to strategic communication initiatives and campaign development.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to effectively address their challenges.
- Provide project management assistance, including resource planning and quality control of deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret clearance; TS/SCI preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 8+ years of experience in federal consulting, with a focus on organizational management, BPR, and change management.
- Willingness to travel as needed within the DC Metro area.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large data sets into actionable recommendations.
- Experience in developing standard operating procedures and process workflows.
- Proven ability to cultivate professional relationships across various organizational levels.
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- Experience collaborating with senior executives.
- Proficient in administrative tasks that enhance program effectiveness.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create clear and compelling documents.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for presentations and reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently in various settings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Human-Centered Design certification.
- Experience with industry best practices in consulting.
- Certifications in Strategy, Change Management, or Process Improvement.
- Experience in leading and facilitating group discussions.
