Job Title: Sales Solutions Generalist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Solutions Generalist to join our team at Petco. As a Sales Solutions Generalist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting guests in finding the right products for their pets, and working collaboratively with our team to drive sales and achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a great experience for each guest by engaging with them, utilizing your acquired skills and training, and assisting them in selecting the right products for their pets.
  • Process transactions in a way that creates a great experience for each guest and generates future business through a deep understanding of their needs and preferences.
  • Ensure merchandise is stocked, priced, and displayed to create a great presentation for our guests and complete training programs to maintain a high level of expertise in your role.
  • Adhere to established operational guidelines, policies, and procedures, and promote a positive culture of teamwork, inclusion, and collaboration.
  • Evaluate guest inquiries and refer to the Leader on Duty as needed.
Requirements:
  • Be able to work successfully within a team and demonstrate a keen and genuine interest in animals and their care.
  • Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills are necessary due to the nature of interaction with the public and other partners and leaders within the store.
  • Prior experience within sales, retail, or a related field is preferred, as well as a high level of knowledge of pet nutrition and an aptitude for sales techniques.

  • A competitive hourly rate of $16.00 - $24.00, depending on location and experience.
