Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Internal Medicine team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our veterinarians and other team members.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including laboratory testing, imaging, and medical procedures
- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including surgeries and diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, in collaboration with veterinarians and other team members
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and test results
- Communicate effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and best practices
- Current licensure as a Veterinary Technician in the state of Washington
- 1 year of clinical experience in a veterinary hospital or clinic
- Experience in Emergency and Critical Care, or Specialty medicine
- Positive work attitude and commitment to a stress-free environment for patients
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
