POSITION OVERVIEW
The Technology Services Specialist position is designed to ensure seamless computer functionality, enabling users to effectively perform their tasks. This role involves receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and resolving user support requests. Solutions may require hands-on assistance at the desktop level, utilizing diagnostic tools and tracking systems.

• Address user inquiries and issues promptly via phone, web, or email.
• Provide hands-on technical support, including software installations, hardware upgrades, and system configurations.
• Analyze and resolve straightforward technical problems.
• Escalate complex issues to senior technicians as necessary.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on workstations and peripherals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of user interactions, issues, and resolutions.
• Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot technical problems.
• Manage inventory of computer supplies.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and internet applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across the organization.
• Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail and deadlines.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and communicate effectively.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
