Job Summary

The County of Scott, Minnesota is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing professional psychological services to children and adults, including psychological testing and interpretation, diagnostic assessments, therapy, and crisis intervention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct various psychological evaluations, including forensic, cognitive, personality, and adaptive functioning assessments.
  • Provide clinical supervision to doctoral-level psychology interns, including orientation, training, and ongoing supervision.
  • Perform crisis intervention and diagnostic assessments to provide information regarding a client's mental health status, needs, and eligibility for other services.
  • Provide consultation and training to others, including individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy.
  • Participate in clinical peer reviews and attend various meetings as necessary.
Requirements
  • Doctorate-level license in clinical psychology (LP) or the ability to become licensed for independent practice within six months.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation.
