Rotating Equipment Planner

Core Project Management LLC is seeking a skilled Rotating Equipment Planner to join our team for a 4-6 week project in Tyler, Texas. As a key member of our turnaround team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the maintenance and repair of refinery equipment to ensure optimal efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop Comprehensive Work Packages: Create detailed job plans for rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and other mechanical equipment, to ensure all necessary activities are accounted for.
- Ensure Compliance with Safety Standards: Verify that all work packages adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with turnaround teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather accurate information and develop effective planning strategies.
- Coordinate Resources: Identify and allocate the necessary resources, including manpower, materials, and tools, to execute turnaround plans efficiently.
- Continuously Improve Planning Processes: Regularly review and refine planning processes to enhance efficiency, minimize equipment downtime, and optimize maintenance activities.
- Conduct Job Field Reviews: Conduct on-site reviews to ensure that work scope is accurately understood and plans are developed accordingly.
- Review Previous Work Histories: Analyze previous work histories, available job plans, and relevant data to support the development of effective job plans.
- Identify Critical Materials: Identify all non-stocked, long lead-time parts, and other materials required to safely and efficiently execute job plans.
- Proven Experience: Possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in sequencing and prioritizing tasks associated with maintenance activities on refinery or similar industrial equipment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading, interpreting, and applying technical information from engineering drawings, manuals, and reports.
- Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Scheduling: Capable of working with scheduling teams to integrate maintenance plans into turnaround schedules.
