We are seeking a skilled Radiography Technologist to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our medical staff.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting Imaging Technologists: Provide assistance to our imaging technologists as needed, ensuring seamless workflow and efficient patient care.
- Adhering to Protocols and Guidelines: Adhere to established section and organizational protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements to maintain the highest standards of patient care.
- Patient Interaction and Care: Interact appropriately with patients and all care providers, coordinating and prioritizing procedures to maintain a high level of patient care and continuity.
- Departmental Rotation: Possess the ability and willingness to rotate within departments and clinics for proper coverage, ensuring adequate staffing and patient care.
- Assisting Medical Professionals: Assist Radiologists or other medical professionals in invasive and fluoroscopic procedures, using equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
- Exam Room Preparation: Ensure that exam rooms are neat, clean, and adequately stocked prior to exams being performed, adhering to Infection Control standards.
- Patient Assessment and Care: Appropriately adapt to assigned patient assessment, treatment, and/or care methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, age-specific, and other developmental needs of each patient served.
- Confidentiality and Core Values: Perform all duties in a manner that protects the confidentiality of patients and adheres to the Core values of CHRISTUS Health Care.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a hospital preferred.
- Certifications: Current registration from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required, current state licensure required, and current BLS (American Heart Association) required.
Work Schedule: Per Diem As Needed
