Job Overview
We are in search of a proficient Network Engineer to enhance our IT department. This position requires the application of sophisticated design methodologies to optimize network resources while ensuring the security and integrity of our network framework.
Eligibility : Applicants must possess current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The Rawlings Company does not provide sponsorship for work visas.
Work Schedule : Standard day shift, 40-hour work weeks. Flexible scheduling options are available after six months of employment.
Work Environment : Professional office setting with a local hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and oversee enterprise-level network solutions. Uphold network and security standards, including documentation, processes, and procedures. Act as a technical mentor to junior engineers and technicians, assisting in the resolution of complex network challenges. Collaborate with IT teams to assess security vulnerabilities and propose mitigation strategies and enhancement projects. Evaluate and maintain network capacity and performance metrics, monitoring systems for reliability and efficiency. Identify, test, and deploy patches and upgrades for network and security devices. Provide occasional after-hours support for critical network incidents.Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering. Demonstrated expertise in designing resilient and self-healing network architectures. Comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP, access-control lists, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP). Advanced skills in routing, switching, firewall, and VPN technologies on Cisco, Arista, and PaloAlto equipment. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) in routing and switching is preferred. Experience in configuring and troubleshooting firewalls, VPN concentrators, and security appliances. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS networking technologies. Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies: Active Directory, Server Operating Systems, and Server Virtualization technologies. Understanding of HIPAA privacy/security standards and general security audit expectations. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail. Self-driven with the capability to work independently and collaboratively. Customer-oriented with a commitment to delivering effective solutions that improve business operations. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments effectively.Physical Demands
Regularly remains seated for extended periods to perform job duties. Frequently focuses for long durations, paying close attention to detail. Regularly uses and views computer screens, utilizing hands and vision. Works in a well-lit, climate-controlled environment. Occasionally moves around the office to communicate with colleagues.
